    1. What are CO2 extracts?

CO2 extraction uses pressurized carbon dioxide to isolate bioactive compounds from plants, rather than heat. This process yields high-quality natural extracts abundant in antioxidants, terpenes, and other beneficial elements. It is also achieved through an environmentally friendly system, so in regards to sustainability and quality, CO2 extracts are the gold standard in skincare ingredients.

    2. How do CO2 extracts work?

CO2 extracts support the skin with their concentrated levels of beneficial bioactive compounds. Because they have a higher level of antioxidants and other skin-supporting properties, they are extremely effective in delivering the benefits of the plant in a pure, concentrated manner.

    3. How should I store my Body Oil?

We recommend storing your oil in a dry cool place out of direct sunlight, such as in a cupboard or drawer.

    4. How long will Body Oil last after opening?

We recommend using your oil within 12 months.

    5. How is the sandalwood sourced?

The sandalwood oil in our Body Oil is fairly traded and sustainably sourced from Australia. We work with a small Australian-based sandalwood oil distillation company which is benefiting the traditional Aboriginal Dutkahn custodians in Western Australia. This sustainable Australian sandalwood is very similar in fragrance and structure to Indian sandalwood, which has a history of being unethically harvested and is listed as a vulnerable species by the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature).

    6. What is the source of vitamin E?

Our vitamin E is sourced from natural, non-GMO vegetable oils, including soy.
