Serving You through the Pandemic

Dear Banyan Customers,

Many across the country are taking action to support and maintain their immune systems and support their overall well-being. As we collectively face continued uncertainty during the pandemic, Ayurveda has much to offer in the way of practical lifestyle support and herbal allies.

As an Ayurvedic company with our mission to improve health and well-being, we take COVID-19 and our response to it very seriously. We also acknowledge the importance of Ayurveda and Ayurvedic herbs during this time. We see our work as essential to the well-being of others, and we are committed to keeping our team safe and our doors open so we can continue to serve you.

Since the beginning of March, much of our team has been working from home or working in isolation within the Banyan offices. Working remotely will stay in effect until it is deemed safe to return back to our office.

In our New Mexico warehouse, we have taken aggressive steps to maintain the health and safety of our staff. This includes wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, observing social distancing, regular deep cleaning of the workplace, and adding additional shifts to reduce the number of people working in our warehouse at one time.

Banyan regularly consults with on-staff MDs and Ayurvedic practitioners, and closely monitors the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and state guidelines from the Oregon Department of Health and the New Mexico Department of Health for updates and recommendations.

Even with all of these adjustments, our Customer Care team continues to offer great customer service, and our Shipping team continues to get orders shipped out on time.

Our team has been working hard to keep herbs and products in stock, and we remain 100% committed to our mission of helping you achieve and maintain health and well-being. May this be an opportunity for us all to make good use of the wisdom of Ayurveda and take great care of ourselves and each other—body, mind, and spirit.

  1. Is Banyan’s customer service still available?

    Yes! Our Customer Care team is still here to help. Check our times of availability.
     
  2. Are there delays in shipping?

    Orders are shipping on time. In the event that we receive more orders than we can process in our usual length of time, we will add information to our website to communicate any delays.
     
  3. What if products go out of stock?

    There have been inevitable disturbances in our supply chain as a result of international shipping delays and shutdowns, and we’re doing all that we can to maintain our inventory supplies. In the event that we run out of a product, you can sign up for notification when the product is available again. This feature can be found right on the product page.
     
  4. What should I take to support my immune system?

    In the Immune Support section of our website, we list our available supplements that will be most supportive during this time. In March of 2020, our product development team of MDs, herbalists, and Ayurvedic practitioners developed two new immune health blends, Turmeric Tonic and Immune Health NOW.
