About Kapha Massage Oil

8 oz herbal oils are packaged in glass. All other sizes come in recyclable BPA-free plastic.

How To Use

  1. Warm oil if desired to support nourishment and absorption.
  2. Massage into your whole body with firm, gentle pressure.
  3. Work your way from your hands and feet toward your heart. Use long strokes on the limbs and circular strokes on the joints.
  4. Let absorb for 10–20 minutes, then shower to rinse. Careful not to slip!

Our bottles have extra room to accommodate our pumps for a spill-free experience. 8 oz oils come with a pump, and 24 oz pumps and 128 oz pumps can be purchased separately.

For external use only. Warning: All oils make surfaces slippery and can be combustible. Use caution when drying or storing linens exposed to oils as they are potentially combustible when exposed to heat. Chyvanprash not sealed when I received it

I haven’t had a chance to use the Kapha Massage Oil but have used the sunflower and sesame Brahmi and was pleased with them. Unfortunately the Chavanprash wasn’t sealed when I received it. I noticed it was sticky around the outside and when I went to remove the plastic seal I discovered that the lid didn’t seal properly. What should I do if this happens in the future? It was pretty disappointing to receive a product that I couldn’t use because I didn’t know if it would be safe or not. Thank you. Jodi Griffith

I love this oil. I

I love this oil. I got it because of the Rosemary although it turned out the sesame oil overpowers the scent. It took me a couple of uses to get over it but the smooth skin makes up for the scent! Great on my skin and hair.

Hi Elizabeth! Yes, the sesame can come through strongly. Some folks like to add a few drops of their favorite essential oil to modify the scent, and in this case perhaps you may want to try adding a few drops of rosemary essential oil. We're so glad the formula is supporting you well!

Nice Absorption!

I use the Kapha Massage Oil after 25 minutes in the Hammam…It absorbs nicely without feeling greasy…I use the heat of the Hammam to warm the oil before applying.

Smells Really Bad

I was hoping this oil would upgrade my abbyanga practice but I won't be using it because of how bad it smells. It smells like the sesame oil has expired so I'm assuming I just got shipped an old batch judging by the other reviews. I have enjoyed using other Banyan Botanicals products for years so I was honestly surprised this oil was so bad. I won't be ordering this again.

Love At First Touch

I had been using warm sesame oil for daily self-massage/hot showers. I decided to try the Kapha Massage Oil, and love the stuff. The scent is mildly earthy, and only enhances the experience. Some of the descriptions for this product said "invigorating", "revitalizing", "promotes energy and vitality" and "instills lightness of being". And I have to say that after using this oil for maybe a month, it has helped me with all those things. Try it!
