How To Use


  1. Mix ½ teaspoon herbal mixture with 1 teaspoon honey to make a paste.
  2. Take directly from the spoon or add to warm water and drink as a tea.
  3. Take two times daily after meals. For acute relief, take three times daily.

Honey is traditionally used to carry herbs deep into the tissue layers. As an added bonus, it balances the slightly bitter taste of the formula. For a vegan option, use maple syrup in place of honey.

Great formula, but wish it was available in tablets.

It's an excellent formula. Unfortunately, taking pippali in this form burns my tongue. After a week of taking this, my tongue feels as if it's been scalded. I've had to stop using it. I hope you'll make it in a pill form.

SOOOOO Good!

Purchased this early in the pandemic 2020 but was a little put off by the taste. Have to say here that I have a high Pitta Prakriti and was not "called" to continue use. But as we fell out of the summer season and as started to get a little colder I gave this another go. Within a week the little Kapha in my bowels was completely gone and have noticed that my appetite in the morning is MUCH lower. We bought several bags when it first came out in March. I mix mine with 1/2 local wildflower honey and 1/2 maple syrup. I think the flavor is so delicious that I keep it in my mouth for awhile before swallowing just to savor it!

I love this formula! I have been using it to keep my immune system healthy so I would not be at a deficit when I have to travel again for work. I feel great taking it. I don't mind the taste, I mix it with manuka honey and put it on the back of the tongue where there a fewer taste buds and it works just fine. Taste is everything

While I was looking forward to taking this supplement, I was not prepared for the bitter taste. I tried it "straight by mixing it with honey. Still tasted awful. Then I attempted mixing it with milk and other beverages. Still couldn't tolerate it. Finally, because I have the ability to do so, I made it into capsules so that I could bypass the taste buds. Works fine. However, I don't know if the product only comes in powder because mixing it with saliva is the best way to take it. I hope not because I can't tolerate the taste.

Because of the potent and bitter quality of some of the herbs in this formula, it does have a stronger taste, and it's quite natural for taste tolerance to vary from person to person. Very Impressive

I have taken this 6x now and am experiencing a sense of ease and calmness that is so sweet. I first bought this product when it came out in March, and I've reordered it several times since then because my family loves it so much. We keep a pre-mixed jar on the counter at all times and each take a spoonful every morning. I love that it's created to be taken with honey, which has such good benefits of its own. It's been a fun opportunity to try some new local honeys as well. it's not a question, but one of my kids is allergic to cane sugar (and any kinds of refined sugar, artificial sugar, etc. Also we are vegan, so I only use coconut sugar, maple syrup, etc), and she will have seizures if she takes “not my approved kind of sugar” & also gluten, etc. So i hope Banyan could make lots of vegan products with “no cane sugar”. thank you so much for considering!!
