I have been taking 2 amalaki in the evenings with 1 triphala and I think it is helping balance out my heat and some of my digestive issues. I used to just take triphala but think this combo works better for me.

Made a big difference!

I have been using Triphala seasonally as a cleanse for quite a few years, but menopause has come and gone leaving me feeling like a dry desert inside and out. The dryness has greatly affected my digestion. Adding more amalaki to the triphala mix has been very beneficial in that aspect. I would highly recommend it.

Renewed Energy

Having taken Amalaki tablets for over 6 weeks I have experienced a renewed energy. I had no longer been able to jog, bend over and work for a while without being hit with immediate exhaustion; since taking the tablets I can jog, and workout side feeling better longer.

Very disppointed over ingredient change.

WARNING!! For those of us with intestinal issues this product has changed with no notification. They now add gum Arabic to their tablets. For those of us with food allergies and intolerances they added, again, with out warning, rice powder. Upon calling the customer service number I was told that this amount causes no harm. Obviously they have no one there who has either issues and are insensitive to those that do.

Not really sure if I feel the effects of it.

If you don’t see results it is completely safe to increase the number of tablets. Amalaki is composed of dry powdered fruit. If you happen to take more than needed it may result in loose motions also know as a “cleansing reaction”. Experiment with the number of tablets being consumed until you find a comfortable balance for you.

Helpful for my excess pitta

Amalaki was recommended to me by my Ayurvedic practitioner and it seems to be cooling my excess heat that builds up in the summer time.

Yes, it is fine to chew the tablets. Ayurveda recognizes that taste plays a subtle role in the healing process.
