How To Use

Take ⅛ to ¼ teaspoon with warm water, once or twice daily, or as directed by your health practitioner.

LOVE all the Guggulus!

I bought 20 herb powders and I use them when making ghee and when cooking breakfast. It is my favorite time of day for the herbs! I love all the spices I have purchased from Banyan botanicals. High quality.

My favorites: Amalaki, Shatavari, Dashamula, Kappikatchu, Haritaki, two different Guggulus, triphala, trikatu, arjuna......wow....guess I need to name them all. They are all WONDERFUL.

And I love making my own ghee with different herb combinations in each....I have four right now I use, depending on what my body needs that day.

I add it to my CCF Tea every morning!

I started with a very small dose .... about 1/8 of tsp ... and am now up to 3/8 of a tsp.

My goal is to over time do a deep cleansing and clearing for my urinary system and liver.

I am glad to have this in my corner!

Formula Seems to work

I take this formula with other ayurvedic herbs for my prostate and(without going into detail, it does appear to be contributing to my overall prostate health.

Thank you for this question, Emily! We are so happy to hear how supportive our Gokshuradi Gugguly has been for your partner! Because Guggulu has a powerful scraping and cleansing action, it can be depleting to the tissues, especially for vata dosha, when taken for too long. It's typically recommended to only take guggulu formulas when working with practitioners, or only for a month or two at a time. This is very different time frame than our other herbal offerings which often can be beneficial after 3-6 months of herb consumption. As always, we recommend working with a trusted practitioner for the best individualized support, as each person is so unique in their needs.

Is this powder appropriate for use in women with urinary problems; specifically, urinary retention, due to nerve damage?

With that said, our Gokshuradi Guggulu formula is tonifying and strengthening for the urinary and reproductive organs, especially supportive for clearing excess Pitta from the genitourinary tract. This formula is rejuvenating and balancing for all doshas and is powerful support for the urinary system as a whole.
