I was pleasantly surprised. I expected to gain more intuition,but had much improved sleep and digestion improved. I didn't have digestive issues, but it improved what was already working. I'm ready to order more now. My sleep isn't the same isn't as sound without them.

Hello, I am Vata constitution. Unfortunately I have not notice a difference and I have been taking along with the Triphala. I have used with all the Triphala and now taking the Haritaki alone for a couple days. Also the ashwhaganda is not as calming as another brand I have tried before. I do happen to love the Ghee, Naysa and Vata Massage oil.

If you Google Haritaki and dementia, you will find many websites suggesting that Haritaki is valuable for persons facing dementia, but we do not make those direct claims. We suggest that it is highly revered in India, as it is believed to increase energy, intelligence, and awareness.

I'm reading that there are different varieties of Haritaki, with the Vijaya variety being the only one that has all the benefits of Haritaki and that the other varieties are less effective. What is the variety you use for your haritaki in this and in your triphala powder, if different? If it isn't Vijaya can you explain why and your thoughts on these differences. Thanks!

Our Haritaki (Terminalia chebula) comes from wild-cultivated and wild crops, grown organically in southern India. The fruit is dried and the Haritaki powder is made from the whole fruit, with the shells and stones removed. In regard to the classical reference of varieties, our Haritaki largely fits the description of the classic amrita variety. This variety is described as having a thick flesh covering and abhaya or five ridges. It is sustainably cultivated, as we strive to balance the growing demand for Ayurvedic herbs with Mother Earth's ability to supply and produce them.
