Daily Massage Oil

I love the oil, however, I am not a fan of the smell. I had used a friend’s, which smelled lovely. She sent me the link and I assumed it was the same one she had, however, I think I may have ordered a different one.

This oil is my Go-To for my full-time massage practice, and has been for many years. It feels clean and consistently high quality, blends beautifully with my base lotion, and is nourishing and luscious.

I am a licensed massage therapist and had been looking for a really nice oil or lotion for my clients. I think I found it! This oil is not greasy. For my purposes it glides but I can still do deep tissue stripping and pinpoint work with it. It absorbs well and I have gotten positive feedback from my clients on it. I love that it is organic and has herbs in it. The only thing I might say is that it goes have a unique odor with those herbs. I personally don’t mind it and have gotten no complaints but just FYI. 100% recommend though!

Stellar product. Clean, warming, grounding... I use it every morning for a brief wake-up massage, soaking up the healing energy of love. Good vibrations to this thing. My favorite, however, is the Sleep Oil. This is liquid miracle. Thank you. More to come, in my future...

It is very difficult to write a review about products you like, it's the service or lack of that is the issue. As you can see online, the 128 oz, $136 daily massage oil is clearly in liquid form. I ordered directly from the company for the first time and ordered this large quantity to round out my order and avoid shipping costs. When it arrived it was in a solidified state, the state it remains in today - days later. After some back and forth, and customer service rightly stating that coconut oil has a temperature threshold - never mind the first ingredient is sesame oil - and that in order to use the product I would need to put the container in warm water for 15 minutes every time I wanted to transfer some to a smaller container, I was informed I could return the product at my expense. Are you kidding me? So now I get the distinct and inconvenient pleasure of going to the post office and paying for return shipping. Shouldn't the product arrive as shown? Or shouldn't there be some mention on the website so folks can make an informed decision. This is not the case with smaller bottles and I would have continued to purchase those from my local studio had I known. Very, very disappointed. Very.

I purchased a few Banyan products at my local
yoga studio and was impressed with the quality of the products. I placed a large order online which included the gallon of daily massage oil. I didn't realize it had the potential to solidify and require warming in order to transfer to a smaller container as that hasn't been the case with smaller bottles. I live in a colder climate so that makes sense. We communicated back and forth and reached a fair resolution. For me a company is about how they handle situations like this. I believe they are also planning to update their website which is also an indication that they heard what I was saying. Loyal customer here!

I have used the daily massage oil for a couple of times now. I'm not really a fan of the smell. It's not so offensive that it would stop me from using it though. But I haven't seen any advantage yet of using this oil over using just the regular plain sesame oil. I'll continue for now with using it but might not re-buy.

I ran out of this product a while back and have been using the plain Sesame Oil, which is rejuvenating but not my favorite. This is my favorite. I love the gentle, calming, delectable fragrance. A superior product for those seeking balance and moisture from head to toe.

This oil stinks. I can't use it.

Winter can be brutal on my skin and I have tried several lotions and have even tried just plain coconut oil as well. They all help but I what I really appreciate is that this daily oil is already chalk full of the daily needs of my vata/pitta constitution all in one bottle. It seems to absorb in quite quickly and just knowing I am feeding my body this delightful smelling goodness brings harmony to the start of my day.

I have tried the Pitta which I like very much , nice subtle scent of vetiver.

I’ve used this oil for myself, but this time I bought it for my daughter in law for her pregnancy skin. Hope to nourish her and our first little one!

I use Banyan’s daily massage oil for self abyangha 2-3x/week after garshana, prior to entering a shower. It is wonderful oil. My skin always looks and feels great. I also use it in my massage practice with clients and they love the herbal scent. It is a pleasure working with Banyan’s products because I know they’re clean and I feel good that my clients and myself are getting healthy oleation. Been using this oil for years, and will continue to!

I go to a spa in Maspeth NY and even though they use unscented natural products, I brought my Banyan Daily Massage oil blend the last time.
I believe that it not only enhanced the massage but I felt the effects for days afterwards.
The masseuse snapped a photo of the label so she could get some for herself! High praise.

I've tested out quite a few oils, but this one tops them all. Some people have mentioned the scent, but personally, I find it quite nice. It's got this healing vibe with a hint of lavender that I really enjoy. Plus, my skin feels incredibly soft and looks nourished after using it. The best part? It absorbs quickly without leaving any residue, so I can get dressed right away. Definitely planning on buying it again. If you haven't given it a shot, I highly recommend it

This massage oil is a staple in our home. We use almost nightly as a part of our routine for calming the nervous system and relaxing tense muscles. The smell and absorption of the oil is my favorite.
