Product came on time and i am happy
I research Guduchi because it was part of a compilation of herbs, some of which I already knew I didn't want to take. I was very pleasantly surprised by what I learned. So I ordered it, and I have started out small and slow -- 1/4 teaspoon, one time a day, for the past week. I'll stick with that for the next 1-2 weeks before I go up to 1/2 teaspoon one time a day for 2-3 weeks. I've found that starting out small and slow gives my body time to adjust. Anyway, I felt better the morning after the first dose (I take it at bedtime), and I've felt better every day since. Just feel better all over. Yes, it's bitter. I chug it down and take a bit of honey afterwards.

However, you can still get most of the beneficial effects by somehow ingesting them. We suggest taking them with honey or a little ghee to mask the challenging tastes if necessary. We also offer many of our herbs, though not Guduchi, in tablet form, which would allow you to swallow the tablet with minimal taste experience. We are sorry that the Guduchi is not working for you. Herbs can sometimes take 4-6 weeks to have their desired effect. If Guduchi is still not working for you, we have a 90 day return policy and would be happy to assist you with a return.
I was prescribed this by a Vaidya some years ago. It calms my Vata.

I have just started taking Yogaraj Guggul to help with my osteoarthritis/joint pain. I take 2 tablets each after breakfast and dinner. Can I take Guduchi with these? If yes, does it have to be at different times?

If you are introducing more than one herbal supplement into your routine, we recommend introducing one at a time and watching how your body responds. Starting on the lower end of our recommended dosage provided on the label and slowly working your way up in dosage as needed is a wonderful way to explore your body's unique response. They can be taken at the same time, if that feels supportive, but we encourage you to explore the herb and find a time or schedule that works well for you. Please keep in mind that we are not practitioners here at Banyan, and we recommend working with one if you are experiencing a medical condition or taking medications.

I have heard that stem powders need to be boiled to be properly assimilated. Here, however you suggest taking with warm water directly. Would like to know your opinion.
Great question. While we suggest taking all of our powders with warm water, you are welcome to boil them if you would like. Decoctions made by boiling are typically only necessary when the entire root is being used. The powders are slightly easier to digest being broken down already, and therefore are more of an infusion.
