8 oz herbal oils are packaged in glass. All other sizes come in recyclable BPA-free plastic.

How To Use

Warm oil if desired to support nourishment and absorption.
Massage into your whole body with firm, gentle pressure.
Work your way from your hands and feet toward your heart.
Use long strokes on the limbs and circular strokes on the joints.
Let absorb for 10–20 minutes, then shower to rinse. Careful not to slip!

Our bottles have extra room to accommodate our pumps for a spill-free experience. 8 oz oils come with a pump, and 24 oz pumps and 128 oz pumps can be purchased separately.

If preferred, you may practice self-massage after you shower, but be mindful as oil residue can stain clothing and sheets.

For external use only. Warning: All oils make surfaces slippery and can be combustible. Use caution when drying or storing linens exposed to oils as they are potentially combustible when exposed to heat. Consult your dryer manufacturer's guidelines for drying linens that have been in contact with oils.

Daily Massage Oil as Advertised

It is very difficult to write a review about products you like, it's the service or lack of that is the issue. As you can see online, the 128 oz, $136 daily massage oil is clearly in liquid form. I ordered directly from the company for the first time and ordered this large quantity to round out my order and avoid shipping costs. When it arrived it was in a solidified state, the state it remains in today - days later. After some back and forth, and customer service rightly stating that coconut oil has a temperature threshold - never mind the first ingredient is sesame oil - and that in order to use the product I would need to put the container in warm water for 15 minutes every time I wanted to transfer some to a smaller container, I was informed I could return the product at my expense. Are you kidding me? So now I get the distinct and inconvenient pleasure of going to the post office and paying for return shipping. Shouldn't the product arrive as shown? Or shouldn't there be some mention on the website so folks can make an informed decision. This is not the case with smaller bottles and I would have continued to purchase those from my local studio had I known. Very, very disappointed. Very.

Sorry that we did not handle the situation according to your expectations; all things considered, we certainly could have waived the return shipping policy. We apologize for that. Thank you for your suggestion and supportings points for an online mention of the likely occurence of solidification in the gallon size of our herbalized oils containing coconut oil. Excellent Customer Service

I purchased a few Banyan products at my local
yoga studio and was impressed with the quality of the products. I placed a large order online which included the gallon of daily massage oil. I didn't realize it had the potential to solidify and require warming in order to transfer to a smaller container as that hasn't been the case with smaller bottles. I live in a colder climate so that makes sense. We communicated back and forth and reached a fair resolution. For me a company is about how they handle situations like this. I believe they are also planning to update their website which is also an indication that they heard what I was saying. Loyal customer here!

Daily massage oil

I have used the daily massage oil for a couple of times now. I'm not really a fan of the smell. It's not so offensive that it would stop me from using it though. But I haven't seen any advantage yet of using this oil over using just the regular plain sesame oil. I'll continue for now with using it but might not re-buy.

Fantastic for daily use

I ran out of this product a while back and have been using the plain Sesame Oil, which is rejuvenating but not my favorite. This is my favorite. I love the gentle, calming, delectable fragrance. A superior product for those seeking balance and moisture from head to toe.
