How To Use

Better Than Expected

I am always skeptical of trying any new supplement from companies, even the ones I trust. When first taking it, I did not notice a significant difference but with a week, I could tell it was working. I have ordered from Banyan several times. But this is a my first review. I have been taking Kanchanar Guggulu for a little over a month. I take one-tablets a day along with Gotu Kola. Something is happening. I can't really describe it. But I do feel a difference. It's been a subtle shift. But in some way I feel less congested and lighter. Since we are moving into Kapha season and I have been having a Kapha imbalance and a slightly sleepy thyroid ( as per the practitioner I've met with last year) I figured I better keep taking these tablets over the winter. I'll update me review and possibly add another star after I finish the second bottle. But so far so good!

Not noticing any changes

Have been taking these for about a month now but don't really notice any difference. Not sure if I'll keep repurchasing.

Sorry that you are not experiencing the support you anticipated with the Kanchanar Guggulu Tablets. We suggest that Ayurvedic Herbs may take time to align with a given individual's energy system, so sticking with one for six weeks to two months would be a good experiment. If still not satisfied, we gladly provide refunds for products purchased within the last 90 days

Could this product be used for a condition like Pseudo Gout or water on the knee?

Michele, thank you for your inquiry. While we are not practitioners and therefore are not permitted to speak to diagnosis, we are able to speak to Ayurvedic herbs and our product knowledge. Kanchanar Guggulu supports the lymphatic system and thyroid, therefore aiding in the removal of excess kapha which can present as congestion, excess mucous and fluid. We suggest looking to Punarnavadi Guggulu as it also addresses excess kapha yet more specific to the joints.

While you could take all of these supplements together, you might be better served to start small, starting with one formula that will best support your primary goals. You could also try slowly integrating the formulas at low dosages, introducing another supplement every few days, and working from there depending on where your intuition guides you. For more specific guidance on creating an herbal regimen, we encourage you to reach out to an Ayurvedic practitioner.

I've hypothyroidism. I'm taking triphala and ashwagandha for energy in the morning. If I also take kanchanar guggulu at night, will it be too much?

When there are health concerns and as we are not practitioners, we always recommend that you work with a qualified, Ayurvedic or health care practitioner to determine what is best for you.



Kanchanar Guggulu is commonly used to support the healthy functioning of the thyroid. Guggulu formulas are strong detoxifiers and therefore are often taken under the guidance of a practitioner and not for longer than 2 months at a time.



We suggest that you begin with one or two herbs/formulations, at the lowest, suggested dosage, for a few days before introducing another supplement and ramp up slowly from there, as your intuition guides you. That way you will allow your system to align with the supplements and it will be easier to detect if one of them is not for you at this time.
