Customers praise this caffeine-free coffee alternative for its "rich and roasted" flavor and bold taste. Many said it's "the best substitute for coffee" they've tried, enjoying it with milk or cream. However, some noted concerns: the powder has a grainy texture that "doesn't dissolve well," leaving sediment at the bottom. Several mentioned the small package size and high price point as drawbacks.

  • It legit tastes like a rich cup of coffee
  • Easily the best substitute for coffee I've come across
  • I felt calm, energized and balanced. Outstanding!

This is surprisingly good. With milk and flavored stevia, it's a fine replacement for coffee, sans caffeine. And I can drink it any time of day. The one complaint I have is the graininess of it. The little grains get caught in my throat and make me cough. I stir it, but there's a lot that settles in the bottom of the glass. Very good.

I love it. I wish I could purchase in bigger quantities. Either way. I love it. I’ve been trying to cut back on my coffee consumption and it really helps. It gives me the same sensation and boldness.

This package is extremely small. I saw an ad posting it on sale. When i saw the size of package, i was shocked. ( the size on the ad does not do it justice. The taste is ok, i do it more for the benefits. I dont want to add sugar or stevia. Adding some oat milk smooths it out a bit.

So lovely

I make a beautiful 10-12 oz cappuccino with this product. Each canister contains 16 servings. That’s about $2 per cappuccino. And they are so much more delicious than Starbucks!

Product v Packaging

This is one of those Banyan products I would always have on hand if I could buy in bulk to re-fill the canister. I enjoyed the hot beverage alternative and the effect on my digestive system. I just can't bring myself to purchase the container over and over and over...

Bitter Bold Delish

Hats off to this amazing product. The price is a bit high for what you get, however, I enjoy it, and has been an excellent replacement for coffee, bod, and rich flavors that satisfied the palette.

This Kwoffee is Great!

I love this stuff! It tastes pretty close to coffee to me, especially after I add vanilla stevia and a little almond or coconut milk. They were out of it for a while, so I ordered five containers once it was back in stock. I love that I can have „coffee“ any time of day now without impacting my sleep or making me jittery. I only use 1 tsp per cup, which is plenty, to make it go a little further.

Banyan Nailed it!

I had to take the time today to write you. I have tried so many of your products but today I realized that it’s a disservice if I don’t actually tell you how grateful I am.

All of the supplements that I have tried have been great - none of them have ever felt harsh or disruptive to my system. The massage & hair oils absorb perfectly and hydrate so wonderfully. The Ashwaganda Latte is a dream! All of your products just feel so synergistic!

However admittedly, I was a skeptic about the Bitter & Bold only because I have tried so many coffee alternatives and none of those that I had previously tried really made me feeling like I was drinking coffee.

I either felt distracted by a unique flavor / ingredient or I could never seem get the water to powder ratio to taste just right.

This morning I tried this product for the first time. I followed the instructions - 1 T powder to 8 oz hot water. I also added a little cream because that’s how I enjoy it.

In my most recent Banyan order I accidentally purchased a pound of Ashwaganda powder thinking that I had placed the Ashwaganda Latte in my cart. So, I decided to also add 1/2 tsp of the Ashwaganda powder to my cup of Bitter & Bold as well.

Upon first sip, I was surprised how much it legit tastes like a rich cup of coffee. Then at some point, I caught myself drinking it and I had forgotten that it was an alternative!

This makes me so happy - you have no idea! Finally!!!!

I LOVE the flavor of coffee but I don’t always want the adrenal rush with it.

I never actually thought that I would find a coffee-alternative product that actually delivered. The bonus is the additional health properties of each of the ingredients you have chosen to use in this. This is a win-win product!

Your products continue to amaze me and your customer service team is just as great! ! Bravo on all fronts!:skin-tone-4: :sunny:️:boom:

Bitter and Bold is the perfect name!

I love this breakfast beverage! I mix 1 Tbsp with 1 tsp raw cacao and 1 tsp ghee and blend with 16 oz hot water for an amazingly delightful, frothy, creamy prebiotic morning drink. I especially love that little bit of shatavari to add a bit of grounded energy. Yum!

Delicious Tea

This is a very tasty tea and helped me transition from daily coffee. I add warmed soy milk to the tea powder in a mug and stir in a spoonful of honey. Delicious!

A Wonderful Drink!!

better than expected

I purchased this as a morning beverage. I had been drinking a steeped tea of chicory root and dandelion. I couldn't imagine drinking what was left over in my cup so I put off trying it. Today I opened the package and drank some with a couple ounces of almond milk added to the hot water. What a wonderful surprise. It was not bitter, and as long as I kept stirring it, I had no herbs that were difficult to drink. It almost had a cocoa flavor so I added some cacao and that made it even more amazing. This is a perfect morning prebiotic beverage so I just ordered more. It is expensive but quality, truly nourishing products are worth the extra money

The tea is lovely but

The tea is lovely but it’s a very small quantity and the new cardboard box packaging is way too big and bulky for what is actually inside. I would prefer better packaging.

The taste is good not bitter at all

I was excited to open the attractive packaging but disappointed to find a tiny bag of powder. I even measured out the product to see if there was really 16 tablespoons in the bag. There were 16. I brewed it with 6oz hot water, stirred, added a bit of hone and raw cream. Taste is smooth, not bitter but the product does not dissolve well in the drink. Lots of product left on the bottom of the cup. I gave it 4 starts because the taste was good but the experience before was not.

Thank you for your honest review of our Bitter & Bold, GP. We're sorry to hear about your experience and will be reaching out directly to discuss a solution with you.
