Herbal Highlights
-
Pippali Fruit
Pippali contains a number of phytochemicals and volatile oils, which are responsible for its texture, aroma, and distinct pungent taste.
-
Ginger Root
The active phytoconstituents and antioxidants in ginger, including quercetin and zingerone, contribute to its unique flavor and many health benefits.*
-
Black Pepper
Best known for its popularity in cooking throughout the world, this famous spice is a native of India and comes from a flowering woody vine.
BRINGING THE HEAT
Talisadi utilizes the power of heat to kindle the digestive fire, burn natural toxins, and remove excess vata, pitta, and kapha from the head and chest. Featuring ginger, black pepper, and pippali, this fiery formula supports healthy lungs and respiratory function while also helping to promote abdominal comfort and healthy stool formation.*

WHY CANE SUGAR?
The use of natural cane sugar in this formula offers much more than a pleasing taste. Prized in Ayurveda for its role as a carrier substance, this key ingredient takes the benefits of the herbs deeper into the tissues while also working to calm vata, soothe pitta, and balance the effects of the heating herbs.*

My niece who is also my herbalist, recommend Talisadi powder to help my lung health and overall well being. I couldn't be more pleased with this powder for it's warming effects and flavor.
I purchased this in the hopes of helping with sinus issues. It doesn't work. At least, not for me. I also purchased Sesame Oil & there's no improvement there either.
Sorry that you are not getting the support for which you were hoping. We would be able to give you a refund for these products that haven't worked out for you. Give us a call at 800 953 6424 to explore details.

Very good product
Does Talisadi help with sinus pain? I generally am not very congested unless I get sick, but I have chronic sinus pain.
Thank you for your inquiry. Talisadi focuses on the immune system and respiratory health, therefore you might look to something more soothing to the sinus passages themselves, like Nasya Oil.
Helo, can Talisadi powder be taken regularly for general lung health during winters, or is this indicated only during cough/cold?
We always recommend that you work with a qualified, Ayurvedic or healthcare practitioner, to help determine the best course of action for you. Our Talisadi can be used to support the proper function of the lungs and healthy respiration in almost any season. While this formula is balancing for all doshas, it is more heating and can aggravate pitta in excess. That being said, it might not be an appropriate choice in the warmer, summer months or if pitta dosha is already elevated.
For daily lung support, we suggest looking into our Lung Formula. This blend is only slightly heating and it is a rejuvenating tonic that nourishes the lung tissue. Hi, I frequently suffer from allergies due to dust (dust mites actually) and I tend to have Kapha and Vata aggrevated during Fall & Winter. i am considering taking this along with Lung Formula. The Lung Formula has worked for me in the past. My question is: would taking both Talisadi and Lung Formula together (plus Triphala) be too much?
Thank you for your question! As we are not practitioners and due to the fact that we are regulated by the FDA, we are not able to speak to specific conditions of any kind. We recommend that you work with a qualified, Ayurvedic or healthcare practitioner, to help determine the best course of action for you.
While it is fine to take these formulas together, we suggest looking into our (new) Pollen Protect tablets. Our Pollen Protect is an herbal compound formulated with herbs known to support a healthy immune response to common and seasonal irritants, soothe the respiratory system, and support normal breathing. This product can be used with our Lung Formula and Triphala, as well.
While Talisadi is used to support the proper function of the lungs and healthy respiration, it is heating and can aggravate pitta in excess. Depending on your constitution, you might find our Pollen Protect to be a more suitable choice.
