Bakuchi Oil+

Wow! What’s in this oil! It absorbs so so well into the skin that even after soaping lightly (to protect clothes) the skin doesn’t get dry at all. This dryness happened to me with all the other banyan oils I have used. Right now using bakuchi with mahanarayan oil in 1:1 ratio for abhyanga. Also using bakuchi oil as a stand alone face moisturizer, it works better than try botanicals for me. Would love this in a refill bottle.

This oil feels really great on my body and even my face. It feels deeply nourishing for my Vata/pitta skin. I enjoy the smell of it too.

In using the Bakuchi oil I experience my skin feeling nourished without leaving any oily residue. The skin tone feels softer with less dryness during the day and night. I find the smell of the Bakuchi oil very warming and earthy. I love using this oil and feeling its healing qualities penetrate my skin.

This is a nice, toasty smelling oil. I use it after the shower on my face, neck and arms and use a couple of drops at night as part of my nightly routine. Early days yet, but I do like it and a little goes a long way.

Love the smell and the feel of this oil. The skin benefits are higher than most other oils. I will keep using this through the summer. I have a blotchy aging chest / decolletage and suspect this oil will even out my skin pigmentation. I am committed to using it for at least three months to see what happens! A lovely self-care experiment.

I’m on my first bottle of Bakuchi oil and enjoying it very much. It’s rich and nourishing but also soaks into my skin rather than staying oily on the surface.

I’ve been adding it to the new face oil to extend that delicious oil a bit longer. It works great on my face.

I also mixed it with sesame oil and castor oil to use as Abyangha oil before or after showering.

It has a pleasant “warm“ scent; not strong.

I love this oil. It smells great. Really helps my dry skin. I use it daily. Sometimes I mix it with my lotion and sometimes just by itself. It’s a keeper for me.

This is one of those products you see and you think, “wow, the end result sounds amazing, but can it really make it happen for me?” It is also one of those products that you use and can later respond to your initial query with “absolutely yes. ” Bakuchi Oil has evened and brightened my skin tone, AND it has helped improve the clarity of my skin on my back and shoulders. 2 weeks of using this herbal oil before showering and cleansing (I love to use it on my face, chest, and upper back while I’m doing a full body abhyanga) has made significant changes in my skin. And, as always, Banyan has a way of making all their oils smell divine—this one is no exception! Bakuchi oil is a staple in my cabinet now!

I love how this product evens my skin tone/hyperpigmentation. It has slowly lightened darkened areas on my chest and forearms from too much sun exposure. The smell is sweet and comforting, the oil absorbs readily. The instructions recommend wiping off excess oil but I tend to leave it in and massage in until completely absorbed. Love this as part of my morning routine.
