Erin Douglas is Director of Social and Environmental Responsibility at Banyan Botanicals, an Ayurvedic herbal supplements and foods company. Over her 12+ years at the company in various roles, she helped to foster and develop the company-wide Social and Environmental policy and programs and led the company to achieve B Corp and Fair for Life Fair Trade certifications. She has championed the company's sustainable packaging transition, developed a pollinator inset project at Banyan Farm, and is passionate about supporting local indigenous community projects. Personally, Erin is the founder of non-profit Learn Grow Lead, which supports an orphanage and organic farming projects in Ghana, Africa. She holds a Sustainability Certificate from the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business, a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communications and Public Health from Northern Arizona University, and is a NAMA-certified Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor. Erin loves her three rescue pets, camping and hiking, and traveling the world.
