I love the products and service
Since, last 6 months I was working on my JOB, research project for my Ph.d and with a very active 3 year old boy. I was feeling over stressed, always feel like sad mood and kind of very low with my thinking and reasoning ability, something like my brain telling me to get something to increase my energy levels.
I am a big fan of Banyan Botanicals products and I thought of trying Shankhapushpi powder and in a week or so, I started feeling so happy again, working very smoothly. Able to work on multiple projects very smoothly, feeling happy and very great playing with my boy full evening till we get into the bed. Awesome and drastic change. Thanks Banyan for making the best and pure products.
I've been using the Shankhapushpi herb along with my usual cocktail for cognitive enhancement and getting nice results. It seems to help me with my research and writing.
The herb is a very fine powder and easy to fill in my capsulating device, and the shankhpushpi improves my dream recollection. I am pleased with this company’s consistent quality and service.

Can I combine this with Ashwagandha? I put my powders into capsules, and wonder if these two can be mixed, or if there are considerations and/or contraindications.
Great question, Jennifer. Yes, these two herbs are fine to combine and take together!
as a herb than increases blood in the brain is there any contraindication for hyper or hypotensive people?
Could shankhapushpi increase the risk for a stroke in hypotensive person?

Can children consume ,is it bitter .ways to give my kids consume .how long does it take to see the difference .How much powder do I use .do u have in syrup form.
We suggest that children over two can benefit from Ayurvedic supplements. Adjust dosage amounts in proportion to a 150 pound adult. So if the child weighs 75 pounds, cut the recommended dose in half. It is not possible to predict how long it would take to see a result as that will vary depending on each individual. However, we do suggest that trying a supplement for six to eight weeks gives a good clue. Shankapushpi is bitter and astringent, so you might have to give it mixed in some honey to make it easier for children to take. Our normal dosage guidelines are a quarter to half a tsp. once or twice daily with or in warm water. We do not have a syrup form.
I plan to add it to my children's smoothie...will it be bitter? I mean I want it to be palatable..I am not looking for sweet necessarily.
Thank you for your inquiry. When it comes to children, we always recommend working with a practitioner first. This is for several reasons: little ones have different needs and may experience herbs differently than adults, they are physically smaller so it is important to adjust the amount given, and it is important to factor in the health and needs of the individual before giving an herb or formula. That being said,
typically the suggested amount for a child would be small enough that the ingredients and taste of the smoothie would mask the flavor. However, it is hard to say as every palate is different. Might we suggest starting off with a small amount and increasing as feels and tastes appropriate.
