THE PHYTOCHEMISTRY OF AMLA FRUIT
Amla is a natural source of antioxidants due to its rich phytochemistry and presence of ascorbic acid (vitamin C). Additionally, the polyphenol content, especially tannins—a key group of phenolic compounds found in amla fruit—contribute to its effectiveness in supporting a healthy digestive tract and the body's natural cleansing process.*

FAIR FOR LIFE CERTIFIED
Banyan's amla is certified Fair for Life Fair Trade. It is sustainably grown in the semi-arid regions of Gujarat and Rajasthan in Northern India. The amla trees are cultivated from young saplings and carefully tended until they reach maturity and begin bearing fruit. Only once robust and healthy enough to thrive on their own are the fruits harvested for use.

This organic powdered amalaki is perfection. I start my day with it in lukewarm water.
Great quality and affordable . Also easy checkout .
I bought this to put into capsules, and I think it’s good, although I’ve only used it fur a week. It was quite hard and clumped together, but I broke it up. I’m hoping to love it!
Following Dr. Michael Greger's recommendation, I'm including Amla powder daily for its antioxidants. I mix 1/2 tsp in warm water with powdered turmeric and ginger (also from Banyan Botanicals) and take after breakfast and after dinner. Love the taste!
Dr Greger the nutrition and longevity physician shares his positive views and the studies about Amla. I couldnt find it in my local healthfood stores so I made an order along with a few other herbs from Banyan. I put a teaspoon in my oatmeal every morning. I love it.
This is a very clean and pure product, as are all your products. Thank you for being there! May it add to the zest in my life!

It is not easy for me to discern what one particular herb does specifically. I use Amalaki and Ashwaganda powder together everyday along with the Men's support and Vata digest. I also make dates with ghee, Amalaki and Ashwaganda powders. I always use the Nasya oil and Vata, daily massage or refined sesame oil. Your service is always impeccable. My favorite company, Aloha, dieter
This powder variety of organic amalaki is versital, as I am able to mkae my own capsules, add to juices or on food.
Have noticed good results with this amalaki. Love the fact that it is a high vitamin C source.
I started taking triphala a while ago and found it helpful. The triphala powder tastes awful to me, and though I tried, it never became an acquired taste. So I was taking the tablets. Being a pitta, the triphala was a little heating, so I decided to start using the amalaki instead. (Amalaki is one of the three fruits in triphala.) at first I was taking the amalaki tablets. This worked fine to keep digestive tract working well. Then I decided to try the powder. With some trepidation, I tasted it. It tastes a little sour, but very do-able. Now I can get a similar effect as the triphala tablets, but without the heating effect, and very inexpensively.
Thank you for your review, Diana! So happy you found your desired effect with the amalaki. Wise move, given the heating effects you were experiencing with triphala. As we are all unique, it sometimes take some time to find just the right herb and dosage. Good job persevering!
So many health benefits & the powder form is so convenient.I added everyday to my morning smoothies. Delicious.
Love you, guys. Keep it up!

Excellent
Delivery was quick, product reasonably priced and well packed. Packaging is sturdy paper not plastic which is great for the environment. Will definitely order again for sure!
I was introduced to the Amla fruit in India by my aunty. Then when I lived in Dubai, it was easy to find the fruit. Now in Korea, i am resorting to the powder. I understand that the fruit has very high content of Vitamin C. I mix Amalaki powder with hibiscus powder, a teaspoon of honey and 1 tablespoon of water. Mix it to a paste and just eat it. The taste is worth trying :-) I am only 2 days into it but am optimistic with the benefits. Will update in a few weeks.
Hello. I just received an order which included a spice jar of Amalaki. The jar was only slightly over half full. I know things settle, but this I feel this is out of the ordinary. Your pictures show a full jar. There is no disclaimer that the jar may arrive only half full. Please explain. Thanks. Kendra
We are very sorry to hear of your recent experience. While we allow some room in production for our bulk herbs to settle, the spice jars should be mostly full. We suggest contacting our Customer Care Team at 1-800-953-6424, to receive a replacement jar of Amalaki.
Can I use amalaki every day for prolonged periods, or there must be some periods of no use?
Hi Agnese, thank you for your question. While amalaki is generally safe for daily, long-term use, we recommend working with an Ayurvedic practitioner to determine the best dose and length of use that is appropriate for you!
Is it blended with seeds?
Thank you for your question! The Amalaki fruit is deseeded prior to drying and processing. The seeds are not part of the final product.
Can you please tell me what other ingredients are included in the Amla powder? One company has ghee and honey included in their Amla powder. Thanks!
Hi there, thanks for your question! There are no other ingredients included in our Amalaki powder. It only contains the dried and powdered Amalaki herb.
What is the size of the spice jar oz or grams? How many 1/2 tsp servings per jar?
Hi Kate! The Amalaki spice jar contains about 100 grams, or approximately 60 half teaspoon servings.
