How To Use

As Indians we use Cardamom in so many dishes especially sweet ones. I have been using it in my oatmeal and cream of wheat as well
I sprinkle on my tea and sometimes I use 1/2 tsp when I make masala tea. It keeps your breath fresh as well.
I have sent small spice jar size to several friends and even to my mom in New Zealand. She loved it.
Now there is not need to use coffee grinder when making desserts...just sprinkle and you are on your way.

You can tell the difference between banyan herbs and store herbs. Once you get used to the quality, it’s not worth going back to the store. Besides if you’re going to use a ton of cardamom it’s better to buy in bulk. AND if you have high pitta you will need cardamom every day!

Excellent digestive!

I suffer from what is likely low acid and my esophagus tends to trap air in my digestive tract, causing bloating and belching that can be very uncomfortable. I have tried bitters and they offer some relief, but have not resolved the issue. The cardamom, on the other hand, has worked well to settle my not only my stomach, but my digestive tract as well, moving trapped air out of this area within minutes. I am very happy with these results!

Great questions! Yes, the 1/2lb of Cardamom is the smallest size we carry.



As for your other question, we do not state an expiration date on our bulk herbs. In general, herbs are at their highest potency at the time of harvest and will slowly degrade over time. If kept in airtight containers and out of direct sunlight, they can remain usable for many years. However, for best results, we suggest using our bulk herbs within two years of purchase.
