Almond Rose Ojas Drink


  • 10 raw almonds
  • 20 raisins
  • 2 cups pure water
  • 1 tablespoon organic rose petals (optional—rejuvenative)
  • 1 teaspoon ghee (rejuvenative)
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground cardamom (kindles digestion)
  • 1 pinch saffron (rejuvenative, kindles digestion)
  • 1 pinch black pepper (helps to control kapha)


Soak the almonds in 1 cup of water overnight. Soak the raisins in 1 cup of water, either overnight or for several hours. In the morning, drain off the almond water and rub the skins off the almonds. In a blender, combine the soaked and peeled almonds, the raisins AND their soaking water, the rose petals, ghee, cardamom, saffron, and black pepper. Blend until smooth. Drink 3–4 times per week or as directed.
