I started using this brand when a different brand of capsules I had ran out. Within a couple days of use my brain fog lifted. Longer use and I noticed my memory had improved.
While reading up on it from other sources I realized it is beneficial for a whole lot of issues. I won't be without it again. I order the 1lb bag (years supply) and add it to my morning mix of healthful supplements. Very affordable this way.
I absolutely LOVE your Bacopa powder. Have been looking for a substitute for the one I used to use, which is no longer available. I like yours so much better! Thank you. (For the person who thinks its too bitter, put it in a smoothy.)
What's the best way to store it to keep it fresh?
Our herbs retain their potency best if stored in an airtight container, out of direct sunlight, in a cool, dry place.

Helps focus the mind for better memory, but it tastes terrible...
Hi Theresa, sorry to hear that the taste does not agree with you. We have a 90 day return policy if you wish to return your bacopa. We also offer a tablet called Mental Clarity which contains bacopa as one of the lead ingredients that you might be interested in. However, please know that in Ayurveda taste is recognized as an important step in the healing process, which is why our powders are so popular. You can try adding a little bit of honey to see if that helps with the taste.

I am noticing some benefits...nothing dramatic so far but it is helping me in a subtle way.
Great product speedy delivery
The herbs are wonderful and I can definitely tell how great the quality is!!!
I can actually feel this hit my brain. No hangovers yet.
I'm still trying it out so far so good.
I originally started taking this for thyroid health. I drink it everyday in hot water — it is a ritual I look forward to each night, although the first couple nights I had to adjust to the taste, now I enjoy it. I really noticed the effects after about 3 weeks. My memory has greatly improved, whenever I have to multitask at work I feel organized & my stress levels are lower. I will be taking this herb forever.
Absolutely love this product! It give me this clarity and alertness along with calmness.
What is the bacoside content (the active compound by weight.
Because we do not standardize our herbs, the active compound content may fluctuate according to the growing conditions of each year, and the quality of the harvest.
Please advice the difference between brahmi (Bacopa monnieri) and Brahmi(Gotu Kola), thanks!!
Both Bacopa and Brahmi/Gotu Kola are excellent herbs for the mind and nervous system. Both are balancing for all doshas, although Bacopa monniera may increase vata in excess.
The names of these two herbs vary between teachers and geographic regions. The founders of Banyan Botanicals were educated in a tradition that reserves the name "Brahmi" for Gotu Kola (Centella asiatica), and therefore offers this herb as "Brahmi / Gotu Kola." Banyan offers Bacopa Monnieri as "Bacopa."
How long should one take bacopa powder?
In general, Ayurveda uses herbs to awaken the body's own natural intelligence. It often awakens and stabilizes after 3-6 months, but could take longer depending on one's constitution, state of balance, and other factors. Once you notice the desired effect, you can slowly reduce your herb consumption. For a specific herbal regimen, we suggest working with an Ayurvedic practitioner.
Is the powder suppose to completely disolve, as I always see tons of particles floating in my cup of hot, even after waiting 20 minutes..
Generally, herbs don't completely dissolve in warm water or milk. They will partially mix into the liquid, then eventually settle to the bottom. We suggest periodically stirring and sipping until done.
What do you think the shelf life of this product is, as I was thinking of purchasing enough for 5 yrs. use.
Herbs can last 2-3 years, depending on how they are stored. We suggest storing in a glass container and keep in a cool, dark and dry place. Keep out of direct sunlight and away from moisture.
