Customer Care Specialist

As Banyan’s Customer Care Department, our primary focus is the customer. We love serving others on their path to better health and well-being. We are proud of the excellent customer service we provide, and we are always on the lookout for ways in which we can better serve our customers.
We are the frontline, the link between Banyan and our customers. We work with customers on several platforms by answering incoming calls, responding to emails, and chatting online. We also help process all orders we receive as well as problem-solve for our customers. To best serve our customers, we are expected to understand the basics of Ayurveda, to have a desire to learn about our herbs and products, and to develop a working knowledge of Banyan’s policies and procedures. There is a great deal of collaboration among coworkers, and we care deeply about upholding our cohesive, caring team environment.
Above all, we must have excellent communication skills (both written and spoken, as well as the ability to listen well), compassion for others, great team spirit, a commitment to learning and improving, a desire to incorporate Ayurveda into our lives, and a great work ethic. We look for these qualities in anyone who wishes to join our team.
This position is full time, starts at $14 per hour, and scheduling flexibility is needed. Health insurance and paid time off are a part of the package.
