How has Ayurveda changed your life?
Botanical medicine and holistic approaches were introduced to me as a young child and have been practiced in my family for many generations. I have happily and openly accepted my role and responsibility as a conduit of Ancestral ways. The ancient knowledge and lifestyle of Ayurveda is the next step I’ve taken in my personal and professional life to expand in reaching my highest and healthiest potential. I feel truly honored and blessed to be working for such an amazing company and upholding the most respectful and sustainable practices possible in this modern world.
Which Banyan products are you currently using and why?
I’m using Ashwagandha Bala oil to assist my athletic body in its strength and Triphala as an ongoing tonic for balance. I enjoy eating Kitchari a few times a week for its benefits in allowing my digestion to have more ease and rest while assisting in ridding of unwanted toxins.
When are you most likely to go out of balance and how do you bring yourself back in balance using Ayurveda?
I can get very into my mind exploration and be so busy mentally and physically that I space out on being still and calm in my mind. I appreciate the instant centering and soothing effect I receive when I take our Brahmi/Gotu Kola extract.
Favorite place in the world?
In the garden, in the woods, on the river; anywhere that is out of the confines of indoors and in the wild!
Roller Derby~ on the track with my skates, teammates, speed and control. It’s my mediation in movement.
