How has Ayurveda changed your life?
Ayurveda has given me the language to express and understand what my body needs to maintain health and balance.
Which Banyan products are you currently using and why?
I’m currently loving our Blood Cleanse tablets and Triphala powder. I feel optimally vibrant when my blood feels strong and free of ama.
When are you most likely to go out of balance and how do you bring yourself back in balance using Ayurveda?
Routine is potent—especially if I am confronted with something emotionally challenging, or have a disruption in my health. The moment I forget my routine, I forget myself—and that is when the imbalance begins. I can always return to my routine!
Favorite place in the world?
The moment or place (any) hiking trail opens up to a vista.
My bookshelves are laden, but I must say my favorite book that I reference regularly is a Julia Child cookbook.
Who inspires you?
Anyone who has the courage to grow despite adversity.
Favorite sattvic meal/recipe?
That’s a tough one! Probably a fruit soupy (cooked fruit soup)! I could enjoy one every day.
