Pilin's Point of View

How were you introduced to Ayurveda?

My introduction was with Dr. John Douliard while I was studying to be a health coach at IIN in 2009. I was hooked on Ayurveda from that moment! I dived deeper into Ayurveda at Kripalu in 2013.

When are you most likely to go out of balance and how do you bring yourself back in balance using Ayurveda?

In the winter months, I easily go out of balance. Winter can aggravate my physical vata constitution. My morning and evening routines that include movement, mediation, and abhyanga,  are essential for me to stay centered.

How has Ayurveda changed your life?

Ayurveda has provided me with ancient wisdom and tools to govern my life and stay in harmony with the rhythms of nature.
