Sneha's Point of View

How were you introduced to Ayurveda?

I did not have much exposure when I was introduced by chance to Vasant Lad and the Ayurvedic Institute. I fell in love immediately and was able to take the Ayurvedic Studies Program in 2005.

When are you most likely to go out of balance and how do you bring yourself back in balance using Ayurveda?

Pitta! The heat comes on fast and hot! I do calming and cooling yoga poses, find my way to my favorite sweets to cool down the body, and practice abhyanga with as much Pitta Massage or Neem Oil as I can handle.

What does the future of Ayurveda look like to you?

The future is bright. Ayurveda is here to serve humanity and we are here to service Ayurveda in our own humble way.

What's one Ayurvedic practice anyone can implement to spur change in their life, right here, right now?

What you eat. You can create delicious, nutritious meals that serve your unique constitution and leave you feeling vibrant, energized, and balanced.
